A note or two about my blog name. Boompa is what my grandson calls me. I am very happy with a special name just from him, although I let his friends call me Boompa, also. If I tend to talk a lot about my grandson, it is only because I love him so much. My blog name, Boompa, was actually given to me before the grandson was born, in order to differentiate between the grandparents. In the movie "Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation", Mr.Hobbs (Jimmy Stewart) was called Boompa by his grandson. So, I am in good company there.

Employment - 35+ years at Boeing.

Family - wife, daughter (and son-in-law), grandson

Fun - fireworks, bike riding, reading, writing, sports, puppets, travel.

Religion - Presbyterian (PCA)
